It’s a beautiful day for a run and I’m excited to hit the trails with my homemade CBD energy balls in tow. As a runner, I know that fueling my body properly is a key part to getting the most out of my workout. That’s why I’ve been experimenting with different energy snacks, and these CBD energy balls are my new favorite.
I start my run with a burst of energy thanks to the natural ingredients in these energy balls. The combination of dates, nuts, and oats provides sustained energy that keeps me going mile after mile. But the real secret weapon is the CBD oil I added to the mix. Not only does it help with keeping muscles loose and relaxed, but it also reduces anxiety or stress, which is a huge bonus for letting you switch immerse yourself in your running experience.
As I hit the halfway mark, I take a quick break, enjoy the beautiful scenery around me and refuel with one of my energy balls. The chewy texture and sweet taste are exactly what I need to power through the rest of my run.

The Recipe for CBD Chocolate Energy Balls
Delicious Homemade CBD Energy Balls Recipe for On-the-Go Runners
These no-bake, CBD energy balls are a tasty, gluten-free, and nutrient-dense snack that can be easily made with ingredients you have already in your cupboard. Perfect for runners, these bite-sized treats are packed with plant-based goodness and are sure to keep you fueled, full, and focused during your workouts.
100gr cocoa powder
50gr coconut oil
50gr mixed coarsely ground nuts of your choice
10gr of dates (optional)
Put all ingredients in a baine-marie. This will melt the chocolate and coconut oil. Stir and make sure all the nuts are mixed in well.
Leave to cool a little.
Drop in 22 drops of CBD oil 5%
If you are aiming for 2 drops in each ball. This recipe will make 11 balls.
Spoon out 11 spoons of equal size. The mixture should be easy to roll in your palm into balls.
Place on a plate and over with foil and leave in the fridge for about an hour.
They are ready to eat, or leave in the fridge or freezer until required.
Do not forget they contain CBD, so try not to eat them all at once 🙂
